For the first time in the history of the Super Bowl, a command center will monitor fan conversations via Facebook, Twitter among other social media platforms. There's an estimated 150,000 people to enter Indianapolis for the game weekend and social channels are sure to be swamped with people interacting with the locals searching for the best parking, attractions, and the best local spots around the stadium. Now, at an almost a week before the game, there has been an increase in conversations in Facebook and Twitter from people in the Indianapolis area already searching for the best spots to watch the game, or even park.
This large communications center will be located in a 2,800 square foot space in downtown Indianapolis. The team, composed of Raidious staff, journalists and students will focus on content development for posts about game-related activities. They will also be helping those fans visiting from New York find parking, places to eat, and sleep among other event related information and recommendations.
Sports fans are eager to show their support for their favorite teams!
